Aspen™ hit the market shelves in August

The new stick-phone from Sony Ericsson GreenHeart™ series hit the market shelves in August! It’s the new Sony Ericsson Aspen™ also known as M1i. So, if you want to be a happy user of powerful Windows Mobile device you should wait just a few weeks and Sony Ericsson Aspen™ will be available for sale. Beside the new Aspen™, GreenHeart™ series from Sony Ericsson offers four different products: Naite™, Elm™, Hazel™ and latest addition to GreenHeart™ portfolio – Sony Ericsson Cedar™.
As you may know, Sony Ericsson Aspen™ was announced on February 2nd, 2010. Aspen™ is business mobile stick phone which was made from recycled materials. The device is based on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional OS and features 2.4″ QVGA 65,536 colour TFT touchscreen display, QWERTY-keyboard, a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth™, aGPS, Wi-Fi™ and 3.5 mm audio jack. The device sizes 117 x 60 x 12.45 mm and weights 130 grams. In the box of Sony Ericsson Aspen™ you can find battery BST-41 1500 mAh, green charger EP800, 4GB MicroSD memory card, HPM-60J GreenHeart™ Stereo portable handsfree with 3.5mm jack and Micro USB cable EC700. The phone will be available in selected markets in two classic colours: Iconic Black and White Silver.
As we can see from this type of phone released, Sony Ericsson it trying to release many mid-end user cellphones or at least with reasonable prices, being this one their target in the mobile phones industry.

SE First published undoxing video of Sony Ericsson Zylo™. As you may know, Zylo™ is the new Walkman™ mid-low slider-phone.
Sometime before we had a look at this same phone, but without knowing its codename – it was just called the Android Based Smartphone from Sony Ericsson.
The phone features 3.2 megapixel camera, 2.6″ 240 x 320 pixels TFT screen, Walkman™ player, FM-radio, Bluetooth™ technology, etc. Sony Ericsson Zylo™ sizes 103.0 x 52.0 x 16.0 mm and weights 115 grams. Zylo™ will be available in selected markets from July in three colours Jazz Black, Chacha Silver and Swing Pink.

Software update for Xperia™ X10

Sony Ericsson launched new software update for Xperia™ X10, but it is not update to Android 2.1, yet. This software update focused on improving the general performance, speed and responsiveness of Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10. There are speed improvements in messaging tasks and camera UI. Sony Ericsson also add free back up and restore application. In selected markets will also be added PlayNow™ with premium applications and games.
Sony Ericsson W205 have a problem

According to the official sources, Sony Ericsson low-end slider-phone W205 Walkman™ have a problem. All phones produced in early 2010 have shorter standby time. Probably, the problem is in the phone’s software. Yet, I don’t know how Sony Ericsson planned to solve this problem. If you noticed something wrong with your phone please contact Sony Ericsson Call Center.

W205 is a low-end Walkman™ phone, which was announced on April and released in July 2009. W205 is small and compact slider, which has all must-have features: 1.8″ 128×160 pixels screen, 1.3 Megapixel camera, Walkman™ player etc. W205 has only 5 MB built-in memory, but it supports Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) cards up to 2GB.

X10 mini pro hits the market shelves

Good news! Xperia™ X10 mini pro hits the market shelves! Here you can see a print advertisment from UK Marie Claire magazine. As you may know, X10 mini pro was announced along with Xperia™ X10 mini and Vivaz™ pro on February 14, 2010. X10 mini pro is basically the same device as X10 mini but it has another form-factor and a full slide out QWERTY-keyboard.
The phone features Google™ Android 1.6 OS, 2.55″ 240×320 pixels (QVGA) 16,777,216 colour touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, 600 MHz processor, Bluetooth™, 3.5 mm audio jack, Micro USB connector, aGPS, Wi-Fi™ and full slide out keyboard. X10 mini pro sizes 90 x 52 x 18 mm and weights 120 grams. The phone will be available in selected markets in three colours: Black, Red and Pearl White. Unfortunatelly, X10 mini pro doesn’t support Style-Up™ covers.
Sony Ericsson Vivaz™ now in Pink
Quite popular Sony Ericsson smartphone Vivaz™ now will be available in new colour – Pink. To tell the truth, pink colour is quite popular in Sony Ericsson company. The new Pink colour should be available in the stores very soon.


As you may know, Sony Ericsson Vivaz™ is smartphone which features Symbyan OS S60 5th Edition, 16.9 nHD wide 3.2″ 640×360 pixels (WVGA) 16,777,216 colour touchscreen display, 8.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and image stabilization, face detection, 720MHz processor, 720p video capture, 3.5 mm audio jack, Micro USB connector, TV-out (VGA resolution), aGPS and Wi-Fi™. Sony Ericsson Vivaz™ sizes 107 x 51.7 x 12.5 mm and weights only 97 grams.
Sony Ericsson Jolie – smartphone with Windows Mobile 7 OS

Some days ago was leaked the name of the new unannounced smartphone from Sony Ericsson codenamed Jolie. Sony Ericsson Jolie is based on the currently unannouced Windows Mobile 7 OS. The device has a sliding QWERTY-keyboard. It has similar to X10 size capacitive touchscreen display that supports multi-touch.
Jolie also has a 1GHz or faster processor. Yet, there is no much information about this device. The annoucement date of Sony Ericsson Jolie should be after Microsoft announced the new Windows Mobile 7 platform.

Tomorow will be the next announcment and Sony Ericsson planned to show three new devices Yendo™, Cedar™ and Xperia™ X8.
Yendo™ also known as Teacake is new mid-stick-phone with touchscreen display. Yendo™ has design very similar to Xperia™ X10 mini. The platform on the new Yendo™ is not Android, but typically mobile platform.


Cedar™ aka Hong – the new GreenHeart stick-phone which has design like Elm™. Cedar™ has micro-USB and 3.5mm audio jack.


Xperia™ X8 also known as Shakira – the new touchscreen smartphone based on Android OS. Xperia™ X8 has sizes between X10 and X10 mini.
