Kate – latest Cyber-shot phone from Sony Ericsson, got model name C510. I think, C510 is not the best choice of model name for Kate (becouse it sounds similar as old K510), but it’s final name. You should wait only two month and than C510 will be available in stores. If you think, that specifications of C510 are very low, you can buy Filippa (stick-phone) or Frances (slider): both phones have 5-Mp camera with AF. Kate and Filippa will be released before Frances. Here you can compare all three phones.

Frances should have WiFi. Check the specs again.

OK. I was told that there was discussion about Frances getting the WiFi. Seems like they have decided not to implement that.
Well AFAIK, Kate was the one of the phones that was considered to be canceled but giving a real name to C510 looks like otherwise. Also, were considered adding Wi-Fi to Frances’s specs, but apparently that is not going to happen too. If released, Kate and Filippa should see the light of the day before MWC 2009. Frances most likely on MWC 2009.
Whatis “image stabilization” in Frances, and why it’s missing in Filippa? Isn’t it that stabilization was in c902 even?
@Santa I too think, that Kate will be presented before MWC 2009. I even hope for small presentation in 2008. Yet I didn’t have any information about next announcement.
