The new W205 – small Walkman™ in your pocket

Today, on the 7th of April, Sony Ericsson unveiled it’s latest slider phone – the new W205 Walkman™. The new W205 is nice low-end slider and it is going to be the most cheaper Walkman™ phone in the 2008-2009 Sony Ericsson portfolio.
The new W205 has really nice design and all must-have features: 1.8″ 128×160 pixels 65,536 colour TFT screen, 1.3-Megapixel camera with 2.2x digital zoom and video recording, Walkman™ player etc. The W205 has only 5 MB built-in memory, but it supports Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) cards up to 2GB.
W205 Walkman™ is created for basic phoners – people, who just need a phone plus excellent Walkman™ player. In addition, the new phone has FM radio with RDS plus TrackID™. The W205 also has stereo handsfree in the box.
W205 Walkman™ has pretty nice sizes: 92x47x16.4 mm with weight 96 grams. The new W205 is dual-band phone, so it supports only GSM/GPRS/900/1800 networks and GSM/GPRS/850/1900 networks for W205a.
The new W205 Walkman™ will be available on selected markets from Q3 2009 in only one nice colour – Ambient Black. By the way, W205 has pretty nice codename – Tessa.

The W205 is the biggest piece of shit I have ever come across. User manual is shit. No explanation on how to transfer music files. who wrote a manual? whoever did should be shot.

i had this phone for about 6 month now and i can tell you that its the worse shit ever : low resolution small screen cant display pictures properly
bluethooth ucks extra slow sending and receiving no stereo
battery life goes decrescendo with weeks for ex it lasted almost20 hours the first week an only 2-4h 3 month laters :\ the memory is the worse shit!!! cant even stock a picture!!! 5mb imean 5 mb!!! and no possibilities of stocking java apps on memory card wich means no games or hyper slow
very buggy phone and even deleting contacts by itself when memorycard too full it restarts by itself no 3g+ network no wifi and hyper slow navigation on the mini web browser really an advice dont ever buy this crap!!! even for free
its not even good for a second phone my mark 4/20
