Preview of the new Sony Ericsson Aino
May 30, 2009 by Max

Yesterday was published the first preview of Sony Ericsson Aino, which was announced on 28th of May. According to GSM Arena, the new Sony Ericsson Aino has capacitive touchscreen and it supports VGA video recording at 30 fps.
“Well, the Sony Ericsson Aino surely did surprise us. The very concept of it is so unlike Sony Ericsson. You’ve got a huge touchscreen, 8 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, plus all the other well-known goodies. We’ve gotta say that the microSD card support is more than welcome too.
No longer do you have to choose between a Cyber-shot and a Walkman, and no longer should you check out the competition when decent video recording is a must. It seems that Sony Ericsson are changing their game plan and thus maybe even changing the game itself.”

The new Aino – entertainment at your fingertips
May 28, 2009 by Max

Aino is the new Sony Ericsson multimedia phone from Entertainment Unlimited series. When you see Aino, The first time it looks more like a stick phone with large screen and without keys. But first impressions of this device are wrong. Aino is not a stick smartphone, it is a mobile phone, which has many interesting features like touchscreen. It’s the first time when we will see a touchscreen on a mobile phone from Sony Ericsson.

Probably, Aino is the final model name and with this name the phone will be launched to the market. Aino has 3.0″ 240×432 pixels TFT touchscreen, which supports up to 16,777,216 colors. Sony Ericsson Aino has only 55 MB of internal memory, but it supports SanDisk microSD™ cards. 8GB SanDisk microSD™ card will be included to the box of the phone. Aino has 8.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and photo flash.

Sony Ericsson Aino has full PlayStation3 compatibility. The new Aino has a real Sony Style look and it is looking like a real PlayStation Portable device. Aino will be available in two nice colours: Obsidian Black and Luminous White. To the box of Aino will be included design-matched Charging Stand EC100 and Wireless Stereo Headphone MH100, which has the same colour variations like Aino. Sony Ericsson Aino and Wireless Stereo Headphone MH100 is a good tandem.

When the phone is closed it has a pretty nice size: 104 x 50 x 15.5 mm. The opened phone looks a bit wide, but it’s not a problem, because Aino has a touchscreen and you will not open the phone very often. Aino has weight 134 gram and that is normal for a slider phone. The most interesting info is, of course, the launch date of the new Aino. Sony Ericsson Aino will be released not earlier than October 2009.

Sony Ericsson Satio – an Entertainment Unlimited device
May 28, 2009 by Max

Today Sony Ericsson Satio was announced – the new high-end smartphone from Entertainment Unlimited series. It was shown at MWC 2009 on 15th of February with codename Idou. That event wasn’t the real announcement, just a small preview with a small list of specifications and some official photos. But today Sony Ericsson finally announced it with the full list of features, with some surprises like new colours and with final model name Satio.

Sony Ericsson Satio has three wondeful colours. Here they are: Black, Silver and Bordeaux. Black colour was showed at the MWC, Silver was leaked a few weeks after MWC 2009 and Bordeaux colour came as a real surprise to us. Satio is looking so unusual in Bordeaux, this one will be called Sony Ericsson Satio Red . But I should admit, that it is a nice colour and it will be fit for women. Black and Silver are more classical colours and they should fit normally for everyone.

Satio supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSPA 900/2100 networks. Device has large 3.5″ 360×640 pixels TFT touchscreen, which has ratio 16:9 and supports up to 16,777,216 colors. Device supports SanDisk microSD™ memory cards and 8GB memory card will be included to the box. One of the main feature of the new Satio is, of course, a good camera. Satio has 12.1 megapixel camera with Xenon flash and intuitive touch focus, which helps you to take great images just in few seconds.

Satio has sizes 112 x 55 x 13 mm and weight 126 gram. Device is based on Symbian Foundation operating system (S60 5th edition Symbian™ OS). A lot of applications for this operating system already available online. More specifications of the new Sony Ericsson Satio can be found on the official Sony Ericsson site. And what about launch date of the new Satio? Less then 5 months left to the launch date of this multimedia smartphone. Yeah! The new Sony Ericsson Satio will be launched in October.

The new Sony Ericsson Yari – phone for fun
May 28, 2009 by Max

Today Sony Ericsson announced the new mobie phone from Entertainment Unlimited series. It’s the new Sony Ericsson Yari. The new Yari is a slider phone, which has a wonderful design. Yari is first mobile phone outside of the Japanese market, which supports gesture gaming. Many preloaded gesture games will be on board of Yari.

First of all Yari is a gaming-phone, so it has all the features, which real gamers need: 2.4″ 240×320 pixels 262,144 color TFT screen, special dedicated gaming keys, stereo speakers etc. Also Yari has a nice 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and photo flash. This camera helps to take good images just in seconds.

Yari has two nice colours: Achromatic Black and Cranberry White. Achromatic Black is coloured in black colour with some white includings. Cranberry White colour is funnier: the front part is coloured in a white colour, the back is coloured in a black colour and there is some red included on the keyboard and on the flip.

The new Yari has a very pretty size 100 x 48 x 15.7 mm and weight 115 gram. The phone has 60 MB of internal memory and 1GB SanDisk microSD™ card will be included in the box. The new Sony Ericsson Yari will be launched in September 2009.
