I do not actually like smart phones.

Smart phones are not only thing that the market needs. I would be glad to see more feature phones with interesting specifications such as high-resolution ( WVGA & FWVGA ) AMMOLED big screens, 8MP, WVGA Video recording...etc.

Smasung is already doing an acceptable effort in providing phones like Jet with its AMOLED WVGA display, D1 video recording, 3.5mm audio jack...etc.

I just can tolerate those more outdated phones with small screens and many other outdated features.

I almost sure that those phones will have QVGA screens, QVGA video recording, no Wi-Fi, no 3.5mm audio jack ......sigh

I've been a SE fan since T68i, but the above 2 phones do not impress in the least bit.

The keypads remind me way too much of the Nokia Classic series for comfort.

What is Sony Ericsson's problem? That's the question. They should follow the market trends already or do something better.

You could have said "slightly larger" instead of "large". They just look like another crappy 2.2-2.4" QVGA screens. The market does not need this in 2009.

Waterproof does not server the purpose as a single feature. Sony Ericsson should have implemented this in high-end phones in order to create a new standard, not just a single feature in outdated phones while the market needs all-in-one devices as well as some innovative things. SE should play in a different role than mid-range market and I will only return to SE when they start to bring "real features and specifications" in addition to some differentiation.
