Xperia™ Pureness

On Friday mobile phones site http://www.mobileburn.com/ published their exclusive hands-on video of the new Sony Ericsson X5 also known as Sony Ericsson Xperia™ Pureness (internal codename – Kiki). As you may know, Xperia™ Pureness is a unique stick-phone which is based on A2-platform (many of us called it A200). Xperia™ Pureness has a see-through display. There are no more mobile phones in the world with a transparent monochrome display.

On the left side Xperia™ Pureness has standart Sony Ericsson fastport connector. On the right side you can find sim card slot. The device features non-removable battery. And finally, the phone has no build-in camera. Sony Ericsson X5 supports all standart functions like calendar, clock, stopwatch, timer, mediaplayer, FM-radio, TrackID™, JAVA, etc.

Despite the fact that Xperia™ Pureness is high-priced phone it has standart for Sony Ericsson Phones box content including a charger, USB-cable and memory card. To the box of the phone also was added HBH-IS800 Bluetooth™ headset which has great design and amazing sound.

Sony Ericsson announces Xperia™ Pureness in November. The launch date of the phone should be in the same time. The retail price is compatible to the price of recently launched device from Entertainment Unlimited series Sony Ericsson Satio and is expected to be £530 (about $875).
