Sony Ericsson finally announced Elm and Hazel

Today Sony Ericsson announced two new phones from GreenHeart™ series. They are: Elm and Hazel, previously known as Susan and Sunny. Both phones support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and HSPA 2100/900. Elm and Hazel features 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and 240×320 pixels TFT screen (262,144 colour for Elm and 16,777,216 color for Hazel).

The Sony Ericsson Elm sizes 110.0 x 45.0 x 14.0 mm and weights only 90.0 gr. Elm will be available in the colours Metal Black and Pearly Rose from Q1 2010. The Sony Ericsson Hazel sizes 102.0 x 49.5 x 16.0 mm and weights 120.0 gr. Hazel will be available in the colours Superior Black and Passionate Rouge from Q2 2010. Also Sony Ericsson today announced the first GreenHeart™ accessory – Bluetooth™ Noise Shield Handsfree VH700.

The new Sony Ericsson’s smartphone from Entertainment Unlimited series Satio™ gets software update. The new firmware makes your phone even more faster because a lot of bugs were fixed there! The new firmware gets version R1CA037 (previous was R1BB041). You can update you Sony Ericsson Satio™ with easy application called Sony Ericssson Update Service (SEUS).

Sony Ericsson Satio™ is high-end device from Entertainment Unlimited series which supports Symbian S60 OS. Satio™ has large 3.5″ 360×640 pixels TFT touchscreen and a 12.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and Xenon flash.

Sony Ericsson releases new firmware for Aino™

As you may know, two new Sony Ericsson phones from Entertainment Unlimited series – Aino™ and Satio™ have problems with software. Aino™ have problems with touchscreen (sometimes it doesn’t work correctly) and Satio™ have many software bugs. That’s why Carphone Warehouse has stopped sales of Satio™. Nevertheless, Sony Ericsson continues to develop new firmwares for both phones. The new firmware for Aino™ was just recently launched. It gets version – R7AA071. The new firmware already available for updating in SEUS.

Sony Ericsson Aino™ was launched in October 2009. It is nice slider phone with wide 3.0″ 240×432 pixels screen, which supports up to 16,777,216 colors. Aino™ has 8.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and photo flash.

Tutorial videos about the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X10

Sony Ericsson recently published three new tutorial videos about the new Sony Ericsson Android-based phone XPERIA™ X10. The first video is about messaging on XPERIA™ X10. A short clip showing a bit on how messaging works in X10. It also shows the QWERTY-keypad. The author said that there will be localised versions of the keyboard for different markets. For example, for China, Russia, etc.

The second tutorial video is showing to us featured application on XPERIA™ X10 called Timescape. The video should give to us information how default home screen can be customized. Author notes that he uses a prototype version of Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X10 with pre-release software so some things may change until the phone will be released. Check out Best Sim Only Contracts.

And the last one tutorial video is showing to us cool application on Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X10 called Layar. This application available for download on Android Market. According to the authour this application is a really cool thing! Check out the video below.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X10, previously know as Rachael, was announced on 3rd of November. The smartphone is based on Google™ Android OS version 1.6 (Donut).
