Meet the Android-based Walkman™ phone

May 31, 2010 by Max

In June Sony Ericsson planned to announce it’s new Android-based smartphone. The new device will be from Walkman series. It is a nice stick-phone which has touchscreen display. The new phone has design very similar to Xperia™ X10 mini. And probably many specifications of both devices are the same.

Just like Xperia™ X10 mini the new Walkman™ smartphone will get the same 2.6″ TFT touchscreen display and the same 5.1 megapixel camera, but without LED-flash. The new device also supports Style-UP covers. Yet there is no information about Android OS on that Walkman™ phone. It has Android 1.6, either Android 2.1. And, of course, the new Walkman phone will get a powerful Walman-player. Stay tuned for more details!
