Sony has rolled out two high-end devices- Xperia SP and Xperia Z, which stand on the Sony’s smart phone podium and share a very healthy comparison. Let’s have a quick look at both the phones for their functionality, style and design.
Sony Xperia SP comes with a 4.6 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, with an excellent resolution of 720×1280 pixels. At the same time the Xperia Z has a 5 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with an at-par resolution of 1080×1920 pixels.
Hardware, OS and Storage
The Sony Xperia SP has an ultra-fast 1.7Ghz Dual core krait processor that runs on a Qualcomm snapdragon chipset. Whereas, the Xperia Z has a bit less with 1.5Ghz processor that runs on a similar chipset configuration.
Both these smartphones offer oodles of space with the Xperia SP having 8GB internal storage and 32GB expandable. Similarly the Xperia Z has 16GB internal storage and 64GB of expandable memory.
However the RAM with Xperia SP seemed to be a bit less with 1GB, whereas the Xperia Z has a preety good RAM memory of 2GB.
Camera and Battery life
The Sony Xperia SP has an 8 megapixel of primary camera and a secondary VGA camera. On the other hand the Xperia Z sports a heavy 13.1 megapixel primary and a 2.2 megapixel secondary camera. Both these smartphones are fed with a similar features like autofocus and LED flash.
Looking at the battery life both these smartphone- SP and Z- have a sufficient Li-Ion adrenaline to support their life.
Overall, both the gadgets have their own style and charisma and are truly value for their money.
