Sony seems to be keeping its promise of updating all its announced Xperia flagship devices with latest firmware. This time, it’s the Xperia SP that is being offered the 4.3 Jelly Bean sweetness. The firmware build is called as 12.1.A.0.253, which is nothing other but the Android 4.3 jelly Bean update. The upgrade is soon to roll-out everywhere, whereas it may take some time as well for the update to reach some regions.
Users need to ensure certain things before going for the upgrade. Ensure that your handsets are at-least charged to 80 percent battery life and is recommended you get it fully charged. Back up all your essential files on the phone as there are possibilities of your data getting wiped out during upgrade.
Here are few instruction of the update.
1) On the home screen, move to applications.
2) Tap on update system and go to System Tab.
3) Update the software.
After the completion of the update, users may need to switch off their handsets. Turn it on again and go to the About Device and check Settings. Here you must see the Android 4.3 update. If it does not appear, do the process again or either reset the phone.
