Well well, after enough of follow up, rumors and closely scrutinizing the Xperia Z1f launched earlier in Japan, the Xperia Z1 Mini OR Z1S is now official with the name of Xperia Z1 Compact! In a press conference at CES 2014, the company has finally revealed the official presence of the device and as speculated, it is the twin brother of the Xperia Z1. The Xperia Z1 Compact is waterproof and will be lunched in Europe in mid-February with four color options of black, white, pink and lime! It will be priced at EURO 550 and will soon roll-out in other states as well!
The Xperia Z1 Compact packs the same boisterous hardware under the 4.3 inch 720p X-Reality and TRILUMINOUS screen. It is powered up with a 2.2GHz Snapdragon processor and a 2GB RAM which makes it the fastest phone in the 4” segment. On the back side, it sports a 20.7 megapixel Exmor RS camera which has f2.0 aperture and Sony’s G lens. With 32GB of expandable memory storage, 2300mAh battery life and LTE connectivity, the device is just a complete package! A bit disappointment is that it comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean but soon we could expect the Android KitKat 4.4 roll-out on the device.
At the launch, Sony Xperia Z1 Compact would be launched with the T-Mobile carrier and currently there are no news available as with which other carrier partners, the smartphone would surface! Get the Compact yet lavish feel of the device in the video below:
