At the CES 2014, Sony made a big news by launching the Xperia Z1 Compact under the flagship Xperia Z1 tagline. Recently we also got a rumor that Sony may come up with the codename “Sirius” smartphones this MWC, and now the news seem to be more stronger!
According to the information from @evleaks, Sony will be announcing the “Sirius” at MWC 2014. The device is also called as Xperia Z2 is believed to be a successor of Z1 and will have several upgrades over the previous model.
The specifications for the Xperia Z2 are still unofficial, but it is speculated to have a 5.25 inch display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution and 564ppi density. With 2K display, Triluminos and X-Reality display technology, the display will stand out to be the best in the market. Another specification reveal it may have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.3GHz, a 3GB RAM and a 3700mAh battery life. The camera is believed to be the same as that of Z1 with 20.7 megapixel.
