Sony has announced its Xperia T2 Ultra back in January this year and was scheduled to launch this April. Now, as the month og launch is closing in, news regarding the device are surfacing out. Just few days back we spotted few sample images of the device. A new FCC listing shows that the smartphone is on its way to T-Mobile. A device with model number D5316 has appeared at the FCC that gives us the required indication that the device is heading ahead. FCC approvals are strong indication for the devices to hit the market soon and hence an official declaration can soon be heard. As it’s a T-Mobile device an LTE support is obvious.
The Xperia T2 Ultra sports a 6inch 720p display, quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 13MP camera, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and a huge 3,000mAh battery. The Xperia T2 Ultra falls in the budget segment and so if Sony and T-Mobile can make a good deal, the device is sure to sell like hot-cakes.
