Sony Xperia Z2 Compact seems to have passed by the FCC

Sony launched the Xperia Z1 Compact earlier this year at the CES expo 2014 and now it seems that its successor the Xperia Z2 Compact might be on its way. News suggest that the Xperia Z2 Compact has recently got certified at the FCC as Soy SO-04F “Altair” which makes it a NTT DoCoMo device by model number. The NTT Xperia Z1was SO-01F, Z! Compact was SO-02F that makes the Xperia Z2 Compact to be SO-04F. The surfaced device has dimensions of 127.6×65.5mm making it a bit taller and wider than its predecessor. Here are some of the leaked images showing the schematic and possible back panel of the Z2 Compact.

The images show the device to be having a 20.7MP shooter with Sony G Lens. However, the LED position leaves us speculating that the device might be a Z Compact as the original flagships Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z2 have flashes under the camera lens. The schematics that appeared at FCC, show the device to be actually an Compact where the position of sensors and front-facing camera matches to the Z1 Compact. We believe that the specs would match to the flagship Xperia Z2. We will get to you as more details surface out.
