Just when the Sony Xperia Z2 has started rolling-out worldwide, the news for the next Xperia Z Series have started coming our way. Recently, some metal frame photos of the Sony Xperia Z3 have appeared from the Chinese website IT168.
The images show the metal frame to be very thin coated with PVD coating technology used for aircraft and watch surfaces. PVD is basically used to strengthen the device’s hardness, making it water resistant and even resist oxidation on the surfaces, thereby improving the overall life of the device. However. Its body seems to be similar to the Xperia Z series mobile design.
Chinese website IT168 also shed some light on the Xperia Z3’s specifications showing it to be having a 1080p resolution, a Snapdragon 805 processor, with 3GB RAM and 20.7 MP camera shooter. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 basically uses a quad-core Krait CPU with clocking frequency of 2.7GHz and an Adreno 420 GPU support.
The Xperia Z2 has been announced just in February this year and so looking at Sony’s marketing strategy of launching the device every 6 months, the Xperia Z3 could possibly arrive in August.
