Yesterday, there was an official tweet from Sony about its today’s unveiling of Xperia C3 the first selfie taking smartphone. Now the device has gone official and the specs for the same have all opened up.
The new Sony Xperia C3 packs a 5.5inch IPS display with 720p resolution and hosts the Sony’s BRAVIA Engine 2. The handset is powered with a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.2GHZ and an Adreno 305 GPU support for graphics. The memory options for the device include 1GB of RAM. 8GB of internal storage and a 8MP primary camera with LED flash. The device measures just 7.6mm of thickness.
The major USP of the device is its front camera which gauges 5MP with 25mm wide lens and even has a “soft” LED flash at the front which truly makes it an Selfie smartphone. The front camera also offers features like the Super Auto Mode.
The Sony Xperia C3 is basically 4G enabled and supports LTE Cat4. Additionally it has a dual-SIM smartphone version as well, that comes with dual standby as well as dual-call. The handset is available in three color options of black, white and mint and will be available from next month hitting first into the Chinese markets.
