The much touted Sony Xperia Z3 has recently undergone through FCC in Japan successfully passing up with its Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC certification process. The device has appeared at the FCC with codename PM-0802-BV and is tipped to be available in two flavors one with Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo and the other with a local LTE flavor. The international variant of the device has been given the codename D6653 or PM-0806-BV.
Previously, after spotting the Sony Xperia Z3 in bulk of images, leakster @evleaks has come up with two images of the device showing its back panel and sides. The images show that unlike the Xperia Z2 which has a bit flatter edges, the Xperia Z3 could likely come with some rounded edges. The back panel seems to be glass-made hosting a camera with single LED flash. Looking at the other images showing its side, it hosts a power on/off button, volume rocker, camera shutter button and a flap which we assume to be a microSD card slot.
The device is tipped to go official this September at the IFA event in Berlin along with its compact variant. Meanwhile, you can check the specs for Sony Xperia Z3 that got leaked recently.
