Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact tipped to have 3GB of RAM and Snapdragon 801


    In addition to the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact, Sony is also to announce the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact at the IFA 2014 Berlin event. The tablet has been tipped to arrive with a 8inch TRILUMINOS display having 1920×1080 pixel resolution with an anti-reflective coating at the top.

    According to the reports, the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact will have a Snapdragon 801 instead of the Snapdragon 805. However, this is faster MSM8974AC processor as compared to the Xperia Z2 Tablet having MSM8974AB processor. The MSM8974AC processor has a higher clock speed of 2.5GHz compared to the 2.3GHz as found in MSM8974AB processor.

    The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a rear-facing primary camera with 8MP Sony Exmor RS Sensor, a powerful battery backup with 4500-5000mAh of battery capacity. Previous leaked image that shows the tablet to be water-resistant. The tablet will also host connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and LTE connectivity.

    We expect Sony to officially announce this tablet this week at the IFA 2015 Berlin event.
