Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra with 13inch screen reported to be under works

The past rumors have suggested that the Japanese tech giant Sony could anytime launch new devices under the Xperia Z4 series and we can expect this to be happening anytime as soon as this CES 2015 next month in January. However, these recent rumors show that there is one more device in the Z4 club which is a 13” tablet referred to as the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra and is currently said to be in working. The specs of the device have been leaked that show it to be a power stuffed gadget. The device is expected to have a Triluminos IPS X-Reality display having a resolution of 3840×2400 pixel resolution which is a 16:10 4K UHD screen.

Purported Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra

Under the hood will be the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset clocked at 2.86GHz supported with a whopping 6GB of RAM (2x 3GB LPDDR4). The built-in storage of the device would be 64GB and it is said to be supporting the PS4 Remote Play as well. The camera would have the company’s own with 1/2.3″ Exmor RS sensor with an f/1.8 Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* lens and just a 8MP camera to its back.

All in all it sounds too good to be true. We’ll gladly admit if we are wrong and Sony does pull this out monster at CES or MWC 2015, but for now we’re skeptical to say the least.

The tablet is said to be just 8.6mm thick and would have a massive battery back-up of 12100mAh. The above shows very slim bezels to this huge 13” display. Its just a matter of few days when we can get to hear any official news from the company.
