Meet the new device from GreenHeart™ series – Sony Ericsson Faith. Sony Ericsson Faith is Windows-based smartphone in stick form-factor. The device runs Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS and features 2.4″ QVGA touchscreen display, QWERTY-keyboard and a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus. Faith will be available in two colours: black and white. Sony Ericsson Faith is a GreenHeart™ device. It has ergonomic design and the body of the device includes minimum 50% recycled plastics. Faith is postponed device. Sony Ericsson planned to announce it along with Elm™ and Hazel™. Yet there is no information when Sony Ericsson announces it.

Sony Ericsson finally announced Elm and Hazel

Today Sony Ericsson announced two new phones from GreenHeart™ series. They are: Elm and Hazel, previously known as Susan and Sunny. Both phones support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and HSPA 2100/900. Elm and Hazel features 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and 240×320 pixels TFT screen (262,144 colour for Elm and 16,777,216 color for Hazel).
The Sony Ericsson Elm sizes 110.0 x 45.0 x 14.0 mm and weights only 90.0 gr. Elm will be available in the colours Metal Black and Pearly Rose from Q1 2010. The Sony Ericsson Hazel sizes 102.0 x 49.5 x 16.0 mm and weights 120.0 gr. Hazel will be available in the colours Superior Black and Passionate Rouge from Q2 2010. Also Sony Ericsson today announced the first GreenHeart™ accessory – Bluetooth™ Noise Shield Handsfree VH700.

Susan and Sunny are coming…

Sony Ericsson announces two new mobile phones Susan and Sunny in December. Official names of these phones are J10 and J20. As you may know, both mobile phones are from GreenHeart™ series. It means that their body includes minimum 50% recycled plastics. Also both devices are waterproof phones. Sony Ericsson Susan has classic stick-phone design, while Sunny is classic slider phone. Susan and Sunny features QVGA screen, 5.0 megapixel camera and aGPS.

The new Sony Ericsson C901 GreenHeart™
Today Sony Ericsson announced it’s new C901 GreenHeart™ Edition. The new C901 GreenHeart™ is basically the same phone as C901 Cyber-shot™, which was announced on the 10th of February 2009.
The new Sony Ericsson C901 GreenHeart™ has 2.2″ QVGA TFT screen, which supports up to 262,144 colours, 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, Xenon flash and 16x digital zoom.
C901 Cyber-shot™ available in three colours Noble Black, Sincere Silver and Precious Peach, while C901 GreenHeart™ will be available only in one nice colour – Ocean White. The phone has pretty nice sizes 105 x 45 x 13 mm and weight 107 grams.
And now the most interesting information. In which regions of the world will be available C901 GreenHeart™? Answer: C901 GreenHeart™ unlike the normal C901 Cyber-shot will be available in most regions from June 2009.
Sony Ericsson Naite – a greener best choice

4th of June. London, UK. Today Sony Ericsson announced it’s new mid-low stick phone Naite. Naite is the first commercial GreenHeart™ phone from Sony Ericsson.
The new Sony Ericsson Naite has really nice design and all must-have features: 2.2″ QVGA TFT screen, which supports up to 262.144 colors, 2.0 megapixel camera without autofocus etc. The phone supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSDPA 2100 networks.
Naite is created for basic phoners – people, who just need a phone and this phone should be not so expensive. Sony Ericsson Naite includes minimum 50 percent of recycled plastics. To the box of Naite you will not find a paper user guide. A big electronic manual will be inside the phone.
Design of the new Sony Ericsson Naite reminds me the well-known G502. Naite will be available in two perfect colours: Vapour Silver and Ginger Red, which reminds me colour variation of Sony Ericsson G900.
The new Sony Ericsson Naite has pretty nice sizes 108 x 47 x 12.6 mm and weight only 84 grams. According to the official Sony Ericsson site, the new Naite will be available in selected markets from Q3 2009.

| On 24th of September 2008 Sony Ericsson launched it’s new environmental warranty and the GreenHeart™ concept-phone. The launch of Sony Ericsson’s environmental warranty means that now, when any Sony Ericsson product is taken to a designated collection point, Sony Ericsson will recycle this product in an environmentally sound way. Sounds very good!
On that day was announced concept of GreenHeart™ phone. And now it’s time for real GreenHeart™ handsets. Soon Sony Ericsson will announced the first commercial GreenHeart™ handsets. The announcement will be on Thursday 4th of June. And what will be announced on that even? Now that’s a small secret. But I promise, that new will surprise us a bit. Stay tuned for more information!
