Sony Ericsson announced the new W508 Bob Sinclar Edition. As you know, W508 is a mid-range Walkman™ clamshell, which has a small external screen and three special music keys on the flip.
The new W508 Bob Sinclar Edition has same specifications as a “normal” W508. The new version has another Style-Up™ cover in the box and inside the phone you can find a rich preloaded content: pictures, themes, ringtones etc.
To the box of W508 Bob Sinclar Edition will be added a new album from Bob Sinclar: “Born In 69″. The phone will be available in the shops in selected Europian markets from Q3 2009.

Sony Ericsson is planning to launch the new campaign about the new Sony Ericsson clamshell W508 Walkman™. As you remember, W508 supported Style-Up™ covers, which helps you to change front and back covers just in few seconds. On the new campaign will be a global competition, where you can make your own Style-Up cover for the new Sony Ericsson W508 Walkman™. Moreover, you can even win on this competition, if your design will get the most votes.
Three steps to win:
1. Choose a background colour or find a nice image.
2. Add text to your Style-Up cover.
3. When your cover will be approved, ask your friends to vote for you.
Design, which will have the most votes, will be mass produced. The winner of the competition will get a Sony Playstation®3. Keep an eye on the official Sony Ericsson site – the new campaign will be launched in next week or two.

Today two great phones from Sony Ericsson were successfully launched: C901 Cyber-shot™ and W508 Walkman™.

Sony Ericsson C901 was announced on the 10th of February 2009. C901 has a 5 Megapixel camera with autofocus and xenon-flash. It supports new special imaging feature called Smile Shutter™. Device has a large 2.2″ QVGA-screen and internal memory up to 120 MB. The phone is very thin (sizes: 105 x 45 x 13 mm) and it weighs 107 gram. C901 Cyber-shot™ will be available in three colours: Noble Black, Sincere Silver and Precious Peach. Today C901 was launched in three European countries – Denmark, Norway, Sweden and also some other coutries in America and Asia. | W508 Walkman™ is the latest Sony Ericsson mid-range clamshell, which was announced several months ago – on the 7th of January. It is a nice Walkman™ clamshell with small external screen and three dedicated music keys on the flip. It has 3.2 Megapixel camera without autofocus and large 2.2″ QVGA-screen. W508 is a typical mid-range Walkman phone, so it supports Walkman player 3.0, TrackID™, Mega Bass™, Shake control and SensMe™. It also supports one special function called Gesture control. W508 has two default colours – Metal Grey and Poetic White plus many other Style-Up™ covers. Sony Ericsson W508 was announced at the beginning of 2009 year. It is great Walkman™ clamshell, which has 3.2-Megapixel camera, 2.2″ 240×320 pixels TFT screen, hidden external screen and dedicated music keys on the flip. W508 has small sizes: 93.5×50.0×14.0 mm and weight 98 grams. W508 has two nice colours: Metal Grey and Poetic White. Don’t forget, that one Style-Up™ cover will be included to the package of W508.
