X10 mini and X10 mini pro get new colours
Sony Ericsson announces new colours for Xperia™ X10 mini and X10 mini pro. It’s Gold for X10 mini and her sister X10 mini pro gets new Pink colour. Two new colours are looking pretty nice and they will be available in selected markets from next month.

Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 mini is compact stick-phone while X10 mini pro is compact slider phone with QWERTY-keyboard. X10 mini family features Google™ Android 1.6 OS (it’s possible to upgrade to Android 2.1 in Q4), 2.55″ 240×320 pixels (QVGA) 16,777,216 colour touchscreen display, a 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, 600 MHz processor, Bluetooth™, 3.5 mm audio jack, Micro USB connector, aGPS, Wi-Fi™ and full slide out keyboard (only for X10 mini pro). By the way, X10 mini supports Style-Up™ covers while X10 mini pro doesn’t have this feature. Xperia™ X10 mini weights 88 grams and has pretty small sizes: 83 x 50 x 17 mm. X10 mini pro sizes 90 x 52 x 18 mm and weights 120 grams.

Software update for Xperia™ X10

Sony Ericsson launched new software update for Xperia™ X10, but it is not update to Android 2.1, yet. This software update focused on improving the general performance, speed and responsiveness of Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10. There are speed improvements in messaging tasks and camera UI. Sony Ericsson also add free back up and restore application. In selected markets will also be added PlayNow™ with premium applications and games.
X10 mini pro hits the market shelves

Good news! Xperia™ X10 mini pro hits the market shelves! Here you can see a print advertisment from UK Marie Claire magazine. As you may know, X10 mini pro was announced along with Xperia™ X10 mini and Vivaz™ pro on February 14, 2010. X10 mini pro is basically the same device as X10 mini but it has another form-factor and a full slide out QWERTY-keyboard.
The phone features Google™ Android 1.6 OS, 2.55″ 240×320 pixels (QVGA) 16,777,216 colour touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, 600 MHz processor, Bluetooth™, 3.5 mm audio jack, Micro USB connector, aGPS, Wi-Fi™ and full slide out keyboard. X10 mini pro sizes 90 x 52 x 18 mm and weights 120 grams. The phone will be available on contract and some pay as you go mobile broadband plans in selected markets in three colours: Black, Red and Pearl White. Unfortunatelly, X10 mini pro doesn’t support Style-Up™ covers.

Today was leaked the new Android-based device from Sony Ericsson which has codename Shakira. Shakira is from Xperia series. Supposely it can get model name X10 mid or something like that, because it has bigger screen and size than X10 mini, but smaller screen and size than original X10. Yet there is no much information about this device. Launch date of Shakira will be this fall.

Yesterday was a launch date of the new Sony Ericsson device Xperia™ X10 mini. X10 mini is the smallest Android-based smartphone in the world! The phone sizes only 83 x 50 x 17 mm and weights just 88 grams. The smartphone has very kindly interface. The phone has 2.6″ QVGA screen. It’s very easy to navigate with only one hand. X10 mini is now works on Android 1.6 platform. As you may know, Sony Ericsson have confirmed that X10 mini will get software update to Android 2.1 on Q4 2010.

Today Sony Ericsson officially confirms that the new Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 and other devices from Xperia™ X10 family (X10 mini and X10 mini pro) will get a UX platform upgrade in Q4 2010. The UXP upgrade for Xperia™ X10 includes:
- Upgrade to Android OS version 2.1
- HD video recording as per the same execution as Sony Ericsson Vivaz™
- Wireless home connectivity via DLNA
- Improvements to signature applications Timescape™ and Mediascape to make them even smarter and richer

As you may know, Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X10 was announced on 3rd of November. The device is based on Android OS version 1.6. XPERIA™ X10 features 4.0″ TFT 480×854 pixels 262,144 colour touchscreen, 8.1 megapixel camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi™, micro USB connector and a 3.5 mm audio jack. X10 sizes 119 x 63 x 13 mm and weigts only 135 grams. XPERIA™ X10 will be available Sensuous Black and Luster White.

Sony Ericsson changed launch date of XPERIA™ X10. Previously, Sony Ericsson planned to release XPERIA™ X10 in February. But now the smartphone was postponed to March. There are many chances that Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X10 will get updated software in March. Hopefully, it will get Android OS Éclair 2.0 either Donut 1.6.
Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X10, also known as Rachael, was announced on 3rd of November. The device is based on Google™ Android OS.
